System Profiles
The following Martial Arts Systems are taught within our dojo's. They are all traditional Japanese fighting arts. We primarily concentrate on the three arts of the Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei. These being Kendo, Iaido and Jodo. However, all of the arts listed below are available, although not every art is taught at every dojo. Details of availability of different systems can be found in our dojo list.

Japanese fencing. Using Bamboo swords (shinaii) and armour.
Japanese swordsmanship. The art of drawing and cutting using Iaito or Shinken (live blades).
The art of the Staff against sword. Using the Jo staff (4 ft staff).
The art of Hyo ho Niten Ichi Ryu Kenjutsu. Sword system using Bok-to, wooden swords.
The art of Uchida ryu Tanjo jutsu. A staff against sword system using the tanjo (3 ft staff)
The art of Shinto ryu kenjutsu. Sword system using Bok-to, wooden swords.
